(Pictured above) Performances in Public Spaces performance by Pasión y Arte at 30th Street Station

The Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy commissions artists and performers to showcase their talent through free performances at City Hall and throughout Philadelphia.  Community spaces all around the city are transformed into stages, studios and dance floors. Performers are from a rich and diverse range of performing artists that are based in Philadelphia. All performances are free to the public. OACCE produces, presents and supports community cultural performances throughout the year and city through the Culture in the Courtyard performance series in the City Hall Courtyard and the Performances in Public Spaces program that expands upon Culture in the Courtyard by bringing cultural performances into public spaces through directly supporting performers and performing arts organizations. To further expand the reach into communities throughout the city of Philadelphia, OACCE have engaged in Community Cultural Partnerships, which organizations can apply directly to OACCE to collaborate on promoting and presenting programming and performances.
